Freedom Farm has been instrumental in my life by giving me hope and a safe haven when I was out of options. It helped pull me out of survival mode for the first time in my 19 years of life. This program has given hope, a purpose, and a sense of who I am. My time here has given me the opportunity to discover who I am and discern God’s will for me and my career. Freedom Farm has helped me grow from a socially awkward and withdrawn teenager who had major trust problems, into a strong discerning warrior and woman of God. No matter where I end up going in life I am forever indebted to so many folks here who have shown me my first tastes of true Godly love.

When I moved into Freedom Farm Crossroad, I was leaving behind a toxic relationship and a life I thought I wanted. I was terrified, unsure of what the future held. But thanks to Freedom Farm, I found God, the most amazing people, and rediscovered my faith. They gave me life skills, a supportive community, and the strength to rebuild my life. Today, I’m stronger, surrounded by lifelong friends and family, and thriving in a career I love. I am forever grateful to those who helped me on this journey.

HOPE PROJECT STAFF

Hello! My name is Micaela Fox and I signed on as the Hope Project Coordinator in December of 2024. I am a proud child of God, army wife, and mother of two rambunctious boys! God has blessed me with a bachelors of science in psychology from the University of Mary Washington, a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from Troy University, and opportunities to professionally work in young adult and mental health ministry settings since 2016. Both my personal and academic experiences have fostered my passion for helping young adults simultaneously find their path in life while achieving mental, physical, financial, and spiritual wellness. It is my honor and privilege to serve as the Hope Project Coordinator and I look forward to seeing each and every young adult at Freedom Farm grow into the potential God has for them.

Hi there! My name is Sylvia and I joined the Hope Project Team in June 2025. It has been a life long dream of mine to open a residential community like this one, and I was overjoyed to find that one like this already exists in my community. I am a globe trotting military wife and mother of 4 with a background in psychology and extensive experience working in residential communities. My passion is to serve God and others and I am so grateful that I now get to serve young adults through the Hope Project.
