A Safe Home for Children

We are thrilled to introduce the very first foster parents of The Heritage Project: Chris and Angela Rucks. This incredible couple brings firsthand experience in foster care and their hearts are rooted in a desire to provide stability, love, and a Christ-centered foundation to children who need a safe place to land. With a strong sense of calling, the Rucks are ready to step into this role, offering hope, guidance, and care to each child who comes through The Heritage House.
Our serene property, complete with a secure fence, peaceful lake, and plans for recreational spaces, is almost ready to become a safe haven for children in need of temporary care, structure, and love. The final step is preparing The Heritage House and filling it with the essentials that will make it a true home, ready to welcome children with open arms.
If you feel led, please consider helping us fill The Heritage House by purchasing items from our wish list. Your support will help to create a warm, nurturing home where children can experience safety, love, and the hope of restoration.
We offer more than just shelter, we provide a Christ-centered home filled with care and understanding. Our house parents are committed to creating an environment where children feel safe, loved, and valued. From daily meals to emotional support and spiritual guidance, every aspect of care is designed to ensure the well-being and development of each child. Our goal is to help them navigate this challenging time with love and hope.
The Heritage Project is dedicated to children aged 6-18 who find themselves in difficult situations. Whether they are in need due to family crises or other circumstances beyond their control, our home will provide a safe and nurturing environment. Our mission is to care for these children with love and compassion, offering them a temporary refuge while their parents or guardians work towards creating a stable and healthy home environment.
The Heritage Project was born out of our deep conviction that God is able and desires to restore families to health and unity. We believe that every child deserves to grow up in a loving and stable home, and our role is to support that vision by providing temporary care while families heal. Our work is guided by faith, love, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children and their families. We care because we believe in the power of family and the transformative love of God.
Located within the peaceful and supportive environment of Freedom Farm, the Heritage Home is a sanctuary where children can find solace and stability. We are blessed with a beautiful setting that allows children to experience the joys of nature and the comfort of a caring community. Here, they can grow, learn, and feel a sense of belonging.
