The Hope Project is for young adults ages 18-24 who are currently in crisis and need help and support. The young adults at Freedom Farm were facing homelessness and many are coming out of abusive relationships or were abandoned by their families.
The shelters in our area do not take people under the age of 21 so the 18-21 year old gap is so huge in our community and we’ve got kids living on the streets because there is no place for them. That is why Freedom Farm is here… so that we can take those kids off the streets and give them the services, support, and love that they need.
We have already helped our participants with ID restoration, learning to drive, obtaining their high school diploma, and so much more!
Next up for The Hope Project is the construction of our Hope Homes which are tiny homes to help our young adults learn to transition to successful adults. The groundbreaking ceremony for our first three homes will happen very soon!!
