When I moved into Freedom Farm Crossroad, I was leaving behind a toxic relationship and a life I thought I wanted. I was terrified, unsure of what the future held. But thanks to Freedom Farm, I found God, the most amazing people, and rediscovered my faith. They gave me life skills, a supportive community, and the strength to rebuild my life. Today, I’m stronger, surrounded by lifelong friends and family, and thriving in a career I love. I am forever grateful to those who helped me on this journey.

I met Donnie and Amy Lumpkin at True Hope Ministries after I relapsed following my mother’s death. At Church on the Rock, I found a family I never knew I could have, and God began to heal my heart.

Growing up in a broken, abusive home, I experienced deep hurt, suicidal tendencies, and addiction. Jesus set me free, and I wanted to help others who were struggling. Donnie and Amy took me in, loved me, and fundamentally helped me build a foundation for my life.

Through their support, I joined Freedom Farm, where I helped women overcome hardships while also earning my GED. Working with these ladies, teaching them life skills, and witnessing their successes has been a blessing. Watching them grow and achieve their goals brings me immense joy.

God uses us as conduits of love to teach one another through experience. Although it’s uncomfortable at times, He knows exactly what we are capable of. I am forever grateful for this journey and the amazing people who have shaped my life.

Faced with the most difficult decision of her life and nowhere to turn, Freedom Farm stepped in to help. She received her high school diploma and now has a job to provide for her son. Today they have the security of a place to live and we will continue to mentor D’Asia to ensure she has the tools and resources she needs for success.
